In this part you will learn how to prepare for your project and all about materials.
The overview of the project will highlight the steps of planning for it.Including planning of the space for your work and sourcing materials based on the information given in this module.
I will show you which materials I use and what effects they give when applied and how application might affect those effects.
I will also show you how wool can add nuances to your project.
and last but not least I will go through silk fabrics which are suitable best for this project and how to work with them.
In this section we will talk about:

how to felt your bespoke felt
how to prepare it for the next stage of the process of lampshade making
In this section with will talk about felting process.
We will start with wetting out all the layers.
Moving on to two options of felting: with a sanding machine or without it
And going into a fun part of fulling process where you will to keep your excitement and measuring tape at hand - as things will get progressed quite quickly.
All the way to the rinsing, ironing and adding final touches.
In this section I will show you how to use your fabric and apply it on a DIY drum.
